This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring exceptional patient experiences by managing appointments and providing crucial support to our primary care team.

This is a Temporary assignment of 2-3 months.

Schedule: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Weekdays, Weekends, Extended Hours as needed)

Pay: $13/hr. Paid Weekly! 

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
• Coordinate appointments and ensure accurate documentation
• Participate in team meetings and maintain adherence to clinic policies
• Assist in maintaining a safe and friendly environment for patients and staff
• Schedule Tele-health appointments and confirm next day visits
• Follow up from recall list and the no show list daily
• examine documents for accuracy and completeness
• collaborate with clinical staff to address patient needs effectively
• Adhere to clinic policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Minimum 1 year experience or Medical Office Specialist Certificate
• Knowledge of PCMH Model and medical office procedures
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills
• Proficiency in computer software (EMR, Microsoft Word, Excel)
• Ability to read, write and speak in a clear, accurate and professional manner; includes active listening skills and understanding medical terminology.
• Ability to handle patient service issues independently
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to fully comply with enhanced infection control requirements
• Physical capability to lift 20 lbs.
