SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for the scheduling of routine and complex radiology appointments including but not limited to: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, PET/CT, Interventional Radiology, and Biopsy appointments for the Department of Radiology. Coordinate all steps from beginning to end for patients needing appointments by working directly with patient, physician, admission staff, technicians, clinic staff and OPAS team. Work with Inpatient Access to arrange bed reservations, as needed. Arrange and coordinate anesthesia, preadmissions, and follow up clinical care and reschedule any part of the process, if necessary.
