We are seeking a positive and team-oriented individual to join our team and lead the scheduling of evaluations. We have a regimented scheduling system and resources in place to facilitate ease with the scheduling process.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Appointment Scheduler. As an Appointment Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service in an office setting.

Duties:
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments using the phone systems and electronic scheduling systems
- Provide administrative support to staff by managing appointment calendars and updating patient records
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments, services, and general information
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
- Collaborate with professionals to ensure efficient scheduling and minimize wait times for patients
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing documents

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with office equipment and computer systems, including electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred, but not required
