Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons has been serving patients in Peoria, IL for over 50 years. We are leaders in oral surgery, specializing in wisdom teeth extractions, dental implant placement, and complex oral surgery needs for jaw correction, trauma, and identified pathology.
We are excited to announce our busy office is growing and we need a full-time Scheduler to join our team at our Peoria location!
Job Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Answering telephone calls
- Scheduling appropriate appointments for patients based on treatment needed via phone.
- Gathering necessary information from patients to input into our software.
- Establishing rapport with referring offices to accommodate their patient's needs.
- Engineering our schedule for maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Managing and following up on no show and cancellations reports.
- Building scheduling blocks into our software.
- Cross training to help in other areas of the clerical office.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Qualified Candidates will enjoy working with people over the phone and have an outgoing, friendly personality. Individuals who enjoy multitasking under pressure and working in a fast-paced environment will succeed in this position. Medical/dental office experience is also helpful.
This position requires you to work full time, Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm. No weekends or major holidays. Candidates should only apply if looking for long-term employment.
