We are seeking a self-starting, friendly individual to join our practice as a Communication Specialist.

This role is vital in helping to create a positive experience for our patients.

You must be able to acknowledge patients in a warm, courteous manner while answering a high volume of calls. As part of our administrative team, you will assist patients in making, changing, and canceling appointments, ensuring patients have access to the services they need.

Responsibilities will also include:

• verifying vision/medical insurance
• accurately recording patient information
• answering broad questions about appointment expectations

This position requires close attention to detail and impeccable phone etiquette. You must be willing to work as part of a team and be able to communicate effectively with front office staff and providers within the company. You must always follow HIPAA guidelines and adhere to the company confidentiality policy. Our ideal candidate has prior receptionist experience, especially in the medical setting, coupled with superb data entry and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
