Patient Appointment Scheduler jobs in Rockford, IL

We are a hearing conservation company seeking to add a Scheduler to our team! This is a full time position, located in our Cherry Valley, IL office.

You will be responsible for arranging dates and times of on-site hearing testing services with our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Initiates and maintains contact with customers to determine dates, times, and range of on-site services
• Enters/updates client-specific information in our computer system
• Creates monthly schedules for testing units based on client needs and resource availability
• Ensures schedules allow service technicians to comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) "Hours of Service" regulations
• Prepares and maps service routes
• Serves as point of contact between customers and company technicians
• Learns and stays up-to-date on DOT "Hours of Service" regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1 years experience in phone customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and written form
• Excellent typing skills
• Knowledge in a Windows software environment; Internet software; Spreadsheet software; Word Processing software and Contact Management systems
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to work well in teams
