The Position
Maintenance Management Coordinators work in the Department of Transportation and maintain the Maintenance Management System by reviewing, verifying, inputting and extracting data. Incumbents perform inspections/audits of maintenance operations and conduct training for maintenance personnel to ensure work is performed in compliance with standards and guidelines.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
This position is located in Carson City, Hot Springs location. This position maintains the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) by reviewing, verifying, and inputting and extracting data. Performs inspections/ audits of maintenance operations and conduct training for maintenance personnel in order to ensure quality of work performed and compliance with standards and guidelines. Implements and prepares special research projects to investigate new materials and technical methodologies for highway maintenance and prepares work programs for the implementation and completion of studies and presents results in written form in order to meet maintenance program recommendations. To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of highway construction/maintenance experience which included working with highway maintenance management systems; analyzing project scheduling, staffing, equipment and materials; and applying a variety of federal, State and local regulations pertaining to highway construction/maintenance; OR two years of experience as a Highway Maintenance Supervisor I in Nevada State service; OR three years of experience as a Highway Maintenance Worker IV in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

The exam will consist of an application evaluation. It is essential that applications include detailed information with time frames regarding education and experience.
