Patient Management Coordinator coordinates the flow of patients through the facility. Assigns patients to beds based on bed availability, care needed, and patient type. Being a Patient Management Coordinator arranges for patient transfers or admission as needed. May act as a liaison with scheduling to ensure adequate levels of staff on duty. As one of the first points of contact for our patients, the Patient Services Representative will be expected to provide high quality customer service in terms of appearance, demeanor and interactions with patients and their families. This candidate will work directly with patients, members of our healthcare team and physicians. Duties will also include data entry, scheduling, providing instructions/directions and completing necessary paperwork.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
One (1) year customer AND clerical assistance experience
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Medical office experience preferred as well as knowledge of medical terminology
