POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Registrar gathers pertinent information to pre-register and register patients for services at the hospital (Ancillary procedures, Inpatient / OB admits, Surgery, Specimens, etc.). Inputs accurate patient registration demographics into the Electronic Medical Record and Billing System, and determines correct insurance coverage order for each visit. Performs clerical support for Patient Access Services as well as Patient Financial Services, and performs receptionist duties for the hospital.
REQUIREMENTS:
Starting pay is $18.41/hr. - $21.05/hr. depending on experience. Additional compensation is also available for qualifying weekend and night shifts.
