Job Summary: The Registrar reports to the Director of People Operations and works as a team member of the administrative staff. The Registrar organizes, administers, supervises, and evaluates various aspects of student enrollment, schedules, and records.
Primary Duties
- Manages the Student Database functions for both campuses of Monument Academy.
- Oversees admissions and withdrawals of all students (Pre-K- high school)
- Communicates on Choice Enrollment issues with D38 personnel
- Oversees management of the MA waitlist
- Coordinates State Mandated Reporting for October Count
- Maintains the Infinite Campus database in cooperation with District 38
- Oversees student records (incoming and outgoing) in coordination with office staff
- Produces Student Transcripts
- In coordination with Marketing, encourages new families to enroll at Monument Academy.
- Collaborates with all employees to help create a positive environment of education excellence.
- Other duties deemed necessary by the COO &/or Director of People Operations in a high functioning school.
Qualifications
- Ability to complete a variety of tasks within a single workday
- Desire to work in a school setting
- Highly organized work style leading to high levels of production
- Strong understanding and implementation of confidentiality for students and families
Experience
- Office experience preferred
- Charter School experience preferred
- Student Information System (SIS) experience preferred
- Extensive experience using computer programs, word processing, databases, and spreadsheets
Working Conditions
- Interacts with teachers, classified staff, administrators, and community
- Interacts with Monument Academy Board of Directors
- Interacts periodically with District 38 personnel
- Travels periodically to conferences.
Salary Range: Full-time salary from $35,000 to $50,000 based on education, experience, and alignment with Monument Academy educational philosophy and programs. Health insurance paid for the employee. Spouse and/or Family coverage can be added. PERA retirement program.
