Being a Patient Relations Director collects, measures, and analyzes patient. family, and staff sentiment data and feedback to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Patient Relations Director coordinates role-based training to enhance each patient interaction. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Patient Relations Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Patient Relations Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What You’ll Do

    The Community Relations Director (CRD) leads the sales and marketing initiatives. The goal is to increase/maintain occupancy. The CRD supports the financial success of the community, representing the company's culture and values, developing strategic marketing plans, and role-modeling extraordinary customer service. The CRD builds relationships with future residents, families, team members, vendors, and the greater community.


    As Community Relations Director, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

    • You will have overall responsibility for the sales and marketing process, working collaboratively with members of your leadership team.
    • You will make sales calls, schedule educational presentations, and coordinate marketing events.
    • You will do outreach to nursing homes, physician offices, and other health care professionals.
    • You will guide, train and support team members to serve as a backup in taking inquiry calls, giving tours, and providing customer service as needed.
    • You will maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations.
    • You will prepare reports as required and develop strategic marketing plans.
    • You will model the Compass Senior Living values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun as a representative of your community.
