Patient Relations Director manages the implementation of a patient experience strategy that supports the organization's mission, values, and goals. Oversees initiatives and projects to nurture and support a patient-centric culture across clinical, support, and administrative functions. Being a Patient Relations Director collects, measures, and analyzes patient. family, and staff sentiment data and feedback to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Patient Relations Director coordinates role-based training to enhance each patient interaction. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Patient Relations Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Patient Relations Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE?

    As a customer service representative you will continue to establish excellence in pet healthcare by:

    • Answering multiple telephone lines with proper Animal Medical Center greeting, in a cheerful tone
    • Directing phone calls to proper team members and ensuring messages taken are followed through
    • Accurate filing
    • Learn and utilize Cornerstone veterinary software for invoicing
    • Work closely and respectfully with other team members in the veterinary practice to ensure a positive client experience
    • Organize and maintain cleanliness in the front reception area (retail, coffee station, bathroom, and front desk)
    • Educate pet owners about Animal Medical Center services and products according to the standards of Animal Medical Center
    WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

    At Animal Medical Center, we strive to exceed our client's expectations by providing excellent service.  Skills you would need for this position are:

    • Excellent customer service skills both written and verbal
    • Love people as much as you love pets
    • Available to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.) and holidays
    • Available to work closing shift within the hours of 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday - Friday 
    • Access to internet to receive schedule and communication emails from Animal Medical Center
    • Able to move from sit to stand frequently.  Be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
    • Be a career minded individual looking for a profession in veterinary customer service
    Preferred skill is previous veterinary experience, however, it is not required
