Patient Relations Director manages the implementation of a patient experience strategy that supports the organization's mission, values, and goals. Oversees initiatives and projects to nurture and support a patient-centric culture across clinical, support, and administrative functions. Being a Patient Relations Director collects, measures, and analyzes patient. family, and staff sentiment data and feedback to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Patient Relations Director coordinates role-based training to enhance each patient interaction. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Patient Relations Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Patient Relations Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Shift: Flex

    Pay: $15.30 - $20.86 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

    Summary:
    Transports patients, specimens, and equipment throughout the facility.

    Responsibilities:
    • Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher or bed to designated sites as requested, including patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, monitors and other equipment.
    • Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles, including transfer from or to wheelchairs or stretchers.
    • Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting staff or department. Assists staff with removal of deceased bodies from units and transport to morgue.
    • Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
    • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

    Requirements:

    Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider or Heartsaver CPR within 90 days of hire. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
