SUMMARY
Responsible for daily dispensing operations and ensuring all policies and procedures relating to dispensing activities are adhered to. Directly manages Patient Care Specialists, Assistant Managers, Security and Receptionists, including but not limited to, scheduling, training, progress reviews, and discipline. Must respond to all complaints or adverse events according to management's policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Ensure all day-to-day operations are in alignment with company standards; clearly communicate goals to board members and present reports on how they are being met

● Interface with vendors, purchasers, and security and transport personnel to coordinate purchase, delivery, and transfer of marijuana products, retail products, equipment and supplies; Ensure par inventory levels are maintained at all times
● Monitor all transactions and cash within the retail store, including preparing bank deposits, counting drawers and safes, making change for register coin safes, requesting coinage for vault, and performing record keeping duties related to all cash
● Maintain knowledge of all strains of cannabis, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls and accessories for sale in the dispensary
● Maintain knowledge of guest services, patient benefits, potency, contaminant and homogeneity testing procedures, sales, promotions, product pricing, policy and procedure, state regulations, HIPAA compliance, all functions of operations, cannabinoids and how they affect the body and acts as a resource for all onsite staff members
● Monitor overall retail sales and create effective solutions to increase sales by implementation of promotions, discounts and patient benefits
● Manage inventory control by use of METRC ; Perform all receiving, transferring, reporting, reconciling and inventory management functions within METRC daily
● Oversee sales floor for a variety of factors including but not limited to flow, staffing needs, quality of service, inventory changes, atmosphere, and security
● Manage staff scheduling and training in anticipation and accordance with needs required
● Maintain employee records; hire, train, motivate, and terminate employees as needed
● Fulfill job duties of support staff, as needed, to compensate for staffing shortages, meal or break times, higher than normal sales volume, or to support general operations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
● High school diploma required
● Minimum of 3 years previous management experience working within a Ohio marijuana dispensary
● Knowledge of uses and benefits of cannabinoids.
● Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
● Must comply with state regulations and guidelines
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
● Standing and moving for 2-3 hours at a time; sitting for prolonged periods, some bending
● Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer
● Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a cash register, computer, and telephone.
● May require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
● Moderate noise level similar to a typical busy office and warehouse environment
● Varied hours and/or days, including nights, days, holidays, and weekends
● Constant patient and co-worker interactions
