POSITION OVERVIEW:

The front desk receptionist greets all visitors at the front desk providing the first impression of the facility. Responsible for admitting patients for visits, hospital stays and/or surgery, answering phone calls, collection of co-pays at the front desk, preparation of admission packets, and patient labels. Additional duties include daily deposit preparation, sorting and filing and other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Customer Service and the use of multi-line phone answering, required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, required.
• Ability to multitask, problem solve, and provide outstanding customer service, required.
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Word and Excel, required.
• Typing skills, required.
• Strong math skills, required.
