    Job Description:

    The Food Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all food products produced and sold by the company meet the highest standards of safety and quality. This includes developing and implementing food safety policies and procedures, conducting regular inspections and audits of food production facilities, and working closely with other departments to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of food production facilities
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
    • Provide training and education to employees on food safety best practices
    • Investigate and resolve any food safety issues that arise
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest food safety regulations and guidelines
    • Collaborate with external organizations and agencies to promote food safety

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food safety or a related field
    • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to travel as needed
