You will do this by facilitating patient safety and quality improvement initiatives and coordinating the implementation of practices designed to reduce error and improve patient outcomes. This will involve fostering a non-punitive culture of continuous learning and improvement by reviewing safety events, identifying trends in near-miss and actual events, and using Lean methodologies to identify relevant trends. You will: · Serve as an educational resource for all departments on issues of patient safety · Encourage reporting of actual and near miss events · Conduct root cause analyses · Assure that corrective actions are implemented and monitored in a timely manner · Facilitate Failure Mode Effects Analysis Teams · Support the organization’s good-catch recognition program Salary Range: $78,800 - $175,000
