Patient Safety Specialist assists in the development and implementation of patient safety programs. Gathers data detailing patient-related errors and conducts analysis for management detailing the cause of the error. Being a Patient Safety Specialist recommends changes, policies, or programs that could prevent future errors. Gives presentations and training programs meant to increase awareness of patient safety initiatives. Additionally, Patient Safety Specialist tests patient-safety knowledge of employees and recommends changes to training programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Patient Safety Specialist contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Redi Services, LLC is seeking a dynamic and capable Safety Specialist to join our Health, Safety, and Environmental team based out of our Carlin, NV office. The successful candidate will assist the local operations team and HSE Director by engaging with employees, customers, regulatory agents, and the public to live up to our safety vision of EVERYBODY BACK HOME SAFE EVERY DAY!


    Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Conducting regular safety inspections and audits onsite to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.
    • Understanding and adhering to all safety guidelines - report any incidents and be proactive in the prevention of safety and security incidents.
    • Working with the Operations Management Team to resolve any issues that arise.
    • Maintaining a strong team relationship and demonstrating a professional presence with all.
    • Fostering communication with the workforce to strengthen the importance of EHS objectives, policies, and procedures.
    • Producing high-quality work that meets the requirements of company policies, procedures, industry standards, and client expectations.

    Knowledge, Skill, Abilities, and Education:

    • High School Degree/GED, or equivalent experience.
    • Two (2) Years of Mining experience is preferred.
    • Preference given to Bilingual candidates. (Spanish and English)
    • Must be MSHA Certified.
    • Able to work extended or on-call hours as needed.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
    • Good organizational skills, and communication skills (written and verbal).
    • SOFTWARE/HARDWARE: Microsoft Office suite, emails, internet, adobe, excel, word, outlook, teams, etc.; computer (desk and laptop), phone, fax, copier, scanner, and other office equipment.
    • Must be highly motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work both with a team and independently.

    Perks:

    • Required to carry a cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
    • A company vehicle will be provided. 75-90% regional travel is required.

    Job Type: Hours and days of work are job dependent and will be discussed at the interview.


    Salary: $70,000 DOE.
