Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing transport and delivery services within the hospital departments using wheel chairs, gurneys and other appropriate equipment; and for assisting the nursing staff in restocking supplies and maintaining the general cleanliness of the department. Transports patients with IVACS, O2, chest tubes, foley's etc. Utilizes basic knowledge of body mechanics, transfer techniques, asepsis, and CPR.
Qualifications:EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
MINIMUM REQUIRED: High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
