DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a meal transporter, you have the opportunity to utilize your personal vehicle to deliver a meal with a smile and greatly impact lives through your conversation.

This position will require you to be personable and enjoy engaging with others. You must be able to manage multiple tasks, pay close attention to detail in challenging work environments, be organized, and have the ability to meet deadlines.

You will be responsible for ordering and recording meals daily on a roster, as well as reporting consumer condition changes to the office as soon as possible.

This role will require you to :

• Use your personal vehicle for deliveries
• Move quickly and efficiently
• Climb up and down stairs if necessary
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling meals (meals could weigh up to 30 pounds)

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Part-time employment, up to 20 hours per week.
• Work hours are 9 : 45 AM to 1 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday.
• Work hours may vary depending on route.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :

• Six months of experience which required operation of a motor vehicle as a regular duty; or

Special Requirements :

You must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.

Conditions of Employment :

Your driver's license must have no suspension within the last three years.

• Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Berks, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, or Schuylkill counties.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
