Position Summary: Seeking a full time Help Desk technician to work in a remote office in order to: Provide responsive quality customer service and support to internal employees within the organization. Services include but are not limited to web applications, desktop applications, mobile apps, and physical devices (computers, monitors, printers, etc). Performs analysis on all issues based on priority and directs the implementation of corrective actions to restore functions and avoid recurrence of the issue. Records all incidents/assistance while maintaining accountability of ownership until resolved. Monitors progress of problem resolution and initiates timely feedback to management and the user. Performers user follow-up to verify final resolution and determine satisfaction level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides highly effective and efficient technical system and user support.
• Documents, tracks, and monitors problems to ensure a timely resolution.
• Resolve technical issues, detects patterns of occurrences, and coordinates with staff regarding handling resolutions to persistent problems.
• Analyzes challenges, recommend solutions and initiates corrective actions and creates the proper documentation for future reference.
• Exercises sound judgment while problem solving customer challenges.
• Communicates to customers in non-technical language regarding the status of reporting and/or data management.
• Assists with setup, configuration, and testing of a variety of mobile, desktop, and web-based software applications.
• Responds to technical support requests promptly, professionally, and effectively.

Skills Required

• Proven customer service and problem-solving skills providing support services both remote and on site
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Broad technical knowledge/awareness encompassing both software and hardware
• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to software applications, hardware, and related windows OS software (printer drivers, folder permissions, etc.).
• Must be able self-driven, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Must be detail oriented and highly accurate.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required to interact with exhibitors, clients, and event teams.
• Experience working in a HIPAA and SOC2 compliant organization.
• Experience with Windows OS support
• Experience with Google Enterprise Services

Education/Experience Preferred

• 5 Years of experience in a technical role within IT
• CompTIA Security certification
• Experience with GRC
• Remote IT Support
• Inventory Management
