BASE WAGE $14.35-$16.50 per hour based on experience.

DESCRIPTION
Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships and Skip-a-Long Childhood Centers, part of SAL Family and Community Services and the Quad Cities areas leading provider of early childhood care and education, is seeking a Driver and Transporter. We provide a safe, secure and supportive environment centered on how playing can charge the mind of the children we care for.
As Driver/Transporter on our team, you will do things like:
- Transportation and delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment to families and child care centers.
- Pick up elementary age children from school and transport them in a 15-passenger van through the Rock Island community.
- Maintain a neat, organized, and hazard-free vehicle.
- Develop positive working relationships with your coworkers; and,
- Participate in personal development to grow your own knowledge, skills and abilities.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A full list of job responsibilities will be provided prior to an interview. Education and Experience
Required: High School Diploma is required. At least one year driving of a multi-passenger van and at least one year in and early childhood education setting. Willing to travel in and out of community and hold a valid driver license which has not been revoked or suspended for one or more traffic violations during the three years immediately prior to the date of application. Must be at least 21 years of age.
