    • Infants (6 weeks to 15 months) - $133 weekly, $27 daily
    • Toddlers (15 months to 2 yrs) - $126 weekly, $26 daily

    Job Preview

    The Resident Care Coordinator is the facilitator between the residents and the care staff. The RCC assists with the day-to-day operations of the Commons. Processing physician orders, scheduling appointments, supervising care staff, assisting with staffing and scheduling. Create schedules for the showers, laundry, appointments, and transport. Aide with the new admissions and help and maintain census for the Commons.


    Responsibilities


    • Maintaining the transport schedule.
    • Works closely with Residents and Dr's to facilitate appointments.
    • Helps transport to and from appointments as needed.
    • Helps in the process of new admissions as follows:
    • Maintains the shower schedule, laundry schedule, bedding changes, and seating carts.
    • Updates Resident Emergency Files (taken with them to appointments, ER, Etc.)
    • Helps maintain Pendants are functioning properly.
    • Calls POA's if the need arises.
    • Helps in maintaining census is up-to-date.
    • Helps with activities as needed
    • Assists in the training process of New Resident Aides
    • Evaluates Care staff skills check off and signs off on the completion of training before turning it in to Commons Manager.
    • Occasionally work the floor in the event of an absence.
    • Takes call 1-2 weekends a month as needed
    • Helps mentor and coach caregiver staff
    • Relays any issues with staff or residents with Commons Manager
    • May assist with tours as needed
    • Helps maintain caregivers are following proper policies and procedures
    • Keeps track of the caregiver daily checklist and insures their completion






    Requirements


    • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
    • Certification as a CNA, PCA, or HHA preferred
    • Must be willing to provide compassionate holistic care with dignity and respect.
    • Significant work experience in a residential care facility is strongly preferred.
    • Great communication and interpersonal skills
    • Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
    • Good conversation skills and a friendly demeanor
    • Able to work independently with little supervision.
    • Able to maintain organized logs of activities and services provided.
    • Physically capable of doing work that requires standing, lifting, bending, and pushing.
    • Patient and calm, especially in difficult situations
    • Reliable, compassionate, and willing to serve others.



    Physical Demands


    • Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
    • Must be able to move intermittently.
    • Must be able to interact with residents and friends and family in a friendly, courteous manner.
    • Must be able to assist residents with their bathing and other hygiene needs.
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
