Patient Transporter transports patients to and from their inpatient beds and other areas like therapy, surgery or radiology. Other responsibilities include retrieving medical records, lab results, supplies and medications. Being a Patient Transporter may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Patient Transporter typically reports to a supervisor. The Patient Transporter may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Transporter. As a Transporter, you are responsible for transporting our very special cargo, the children in foster care. You will provide safe door to door transportation assistance to the children in foster care in order for them to attend visitation at the Family Place Visitation Center.
