Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operator jobs in Fort Lauderdale, FL
Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operator operates a mechanical machine to lay gravel, stone, and cold-mix asphalt on road surfaces. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operator is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operator performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Job Duties include beach grooming services and litter control. Employees safely operate agriculture tractors to collect and bury seaweed, sift sand and collect non organic materials for disposal.
