Payment Recovery Specialist is responsible for analysis of denied reimbursement claims. Ensures appropriate insurance coverage for compliance standards and revenue generation. Being a Payment Recovery Specialist monitors, evaluates, and reviews all cost reporting in support of claims. Coordinates with departments and insurance companies to correct errors as necessary. Additionally, Payment Recovery Specialist requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Payment Recovery Specialist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Position # 2023-05 - Full time, 1.0 FTE - Day Shift - Thursday-Monday - 8 hours per day

    Position # 2023-83 - Part Time, 0.80 FTE - Swing Shift - Friday Through Monday 8 hours per day

    Position # 2024-05 - Full Time, 1.0 FTE - Swing Shift - Tuesday Through Saturday - 8 hour days

    Position # 2024-06 - Full Time, 1.0 FTE - Swing Shift - Sunday Through Saturday - 8 hour days

    Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $18.31 per hour. The hiring rate depends on qualifications, professional experience, and terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

    ** Shift differential is provided for swing & graveyard shifts. **

    Job Summary:

    The Recovery Support Specialist, as part of the substance use disorder treatment team, is responsible for developing respectful, professional relationships with clients that assist them in being successful in their journey to recovery in the residential setting. Recovery Support Specialists provide for the safety of clients, oversee medication calls, and other activities in the residential setting, coordinate client medical and other appointments, and provide transportation for clients (if needed).

    Requirements:

    • High school or GED,
    • Valid unrestricted driver’s license
    • Minimum 1-2 years of previous or related experience
    • Computer skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong communication, organization, documentation and record-keeping skills
    • Desire to work with a low-income, diverse population dealing with addiction
    • Within 90 days of hire, must obtain an Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration. (No education needed, application process only)
