Payment Recovery Specialist is responsible for analysis of denied reimbursement claims. Ensures appropriate insurance coverage for compliance standards and revenue generation. Being a Payment Recovery Specialist monitors, evaluates, and reviews all cost reporting in support of claims. Coordinates with departments and insurance companies to correct errors as necessary. Additionally, Payment Recovery Specialist requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Payment Recovery Specialist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. JOB SUMMARY
The Recovery Specialist is a full-time position that coordinates between other SHRC personnel and assists staff as needed. Must be available and qualified to provide billable recovery coaching sessions with center members. Facilitate parenting education sessions and fulfill contractual FO (Facilitating Organization) obligations as outlined in contract. Must work to establish and develop relationships in the Seacoast community with the objective of forming partnerships that help promote and advance SHRC's mission and core values. Be familiar with the funded contracts/budget and Facilitating Organization expectations. Assist supervisor as needed and manage/implement data systems as requested. Coordinate and schedule volunteers with at least one volunteer on site at all times during working hours. Assist in developing volunteer corps program.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
