Payment Recovery Specialist is responsible for analysis of denied reimbursement claims. Ensures appropriate insurance coverage for compliance standards and revenue generation. Being a Payment Recovery Specialist monitors, evaluates, and reviews all cost reporting in support of claims. Coordinates with departments and insurance companies to correct errors as necessary. Additionally, Payment Recovery Specialist requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. POSITION SUMMARY
Serves as a payment expert having expertise in all payment areas. Specialization in ACH Origination, ACH Processing, Check Processing, Faster Payments (FedNow/RTP,Zelle), Remote Capture (mRDC/RDC), Wires, ATM Processing, and Cards (debit/credit). Will serve as a subject matter expert in their areas of specialization for all departments, credit union, and regulatory compliance purposes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree in a business-related field and two years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in electronic services; or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through a minimum of four years related work experience.
