Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role requires strong knowledge of payroll systems, human resources, and accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information
- Calculate and process deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data in the HRIS system
- Assist with year-end reporting and tax filings
- Provide support for audits related to payroll processes

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (ADP, Paychex) and accounting software
- Familiarity with governmental accounting principles is a plus
- Experience with account reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
