Payroll Clerk

Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Full-time (40/hour per week)

Cherokee Health Systems is a Federally Qualified Health Center located throughout Tennessee. We currently have 24 locations including Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis, and surrounding areas. At Cherokee Health Systems we also know that our staff needs balance in their work and life. This position offers a set Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. work schedule to allow our employees, family and friends time in the evenings and on the weekends.

Summary:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. At least four to six years of experience preparing, and processing payroll preferred (Associates or BS degree preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Data entry – includes, but not limited to employee pay and deduction information
• Data review – includes, but not limited to employee benefit information
• Maintain the electronic time system
• Timecard and schedule management
• Bi-weekly payroll processing
• Manage incoming documents
• Special projects/reports
• Filing, scanning and maintain permanent documents/files
• Other duties as assigned.
