CONFIDENTIAL PAYROLL CLERK POSITION

WOODCLIFF LAKE PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The Woodcliff Lake School District has an opening for an experienced Full-Time

12-Month Position, Confidential Payroll Clerk.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of CSI payroll software a plus
• Prior payroll experience in a school setting preferred
• Knowledge of accounting for school districts and proficiency in Excel
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent communications skills required to interact with employees, vendors and others

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process district’s payroll with a high degree of responsibility and confidentiality. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and filing associated federal and state financial reports.
• Coordinate and assists with implementation of specific district benefit programs for benefit-eligible employees. Consult, advise and act as liaison to employees, insurance carriers, health care providers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Business Administrator.
