Payroll Clerk jobs in Pocatello, ID

We are looking for a Bookkeeper / Payroll Clerk / Accounting Clerk to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Manage payroll
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
• Perform basic audits, review, and reconciliations ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Report analysis and findings to the management team
• Update excel spreadsheets

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Experience with current computer accounting programs (Quickbooks Online) and reporting tools (Excel)
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• English fluency required
• Spanish fluency is a bonus
• Must be proficient Microsoft Excel
• Be a quick learner, we will teach a lot of what you need to do

Certifications

• Certified Bookkeeper (preferrred)
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) (preferred)
