ReadyWorkInc is seeking an experienced Bilingual Payroll Manager to oversee the payroll department in the Nipomo, CA area! The ideal candidate will have expertise in certified payroll, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe, and strong accounting skills. The schedule will Monday - Friday you must be available to work overtime and weekends if needed. Minimum of 3 year of experience in accounting specifically doing payroll.

Overview:

The Payroll Manager is responsible for processing payroll weekly. Must keep upto date with Weekly, Montly, Quartly and Yearly reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and accounting principles, along with proficiency in various payroll software systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Oversee and manage the payroll process for all employees

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions

- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports

- Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production

- Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data

- Stay updated on federal, state, and local tax regulations affecting payroll

- As needed process all prevaling wage forms and paperwork when awarded a job.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

- Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation

- Experience with Adobe, Excel, Gmail, Word, Acumatica, LCP, DIR or similar payroll software

- Strong understanding of accounting principles

- Solid understanding and experience with payroll and payroll tax laws

- Discretion with sensitive information

- Knowledge of general ledger accounting practices

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
