Payroll Clerk, Sr. jobs in Grand Rapids, MI

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Brokerage/Payroll Clerk to join our team. The Clerk will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Invoicing directly to websites
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
-Billing our M-Z customers
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Updating and approving carrier pays and running settlements.
- Processing deductions/earnings per dispatcher request
- Rendition daily

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in ADP, McLeod, or similar payroll software
- Strong understanding of debits/credits and journal entries
- Experience in corporate accounting and general ledger accounting
- Knowledge of payroll management processes
- Familiarity with accounts payable
