Payroll Clerk, Sr. jobs in Scranton, PA

Family owned construction company seeking a self motivated and energetic Administrative Assistant / Payroll Clerk with excellent organizational and communication skills. Primary focus will be completing weekly payroll utilizing computer based software. Training will be provided but a general background in Administrative/payroll duties is preferred.

*Accounts Receivable

*Prepare and record payments made by customers

*Prepare and record bank deposits

*Collect and process all weekly timesheets/timecards from managers and employees

*Calculating and entering payment of prevailing wage rates

*Prepare and submit all weekly, quarterly and yearly tax payments

*Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously as needed by management staff

*Advance knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, as well as previous Administrative Assistant experience in an office setting required
