Payroll Director directs all aspects of payroll processing operations. Establishes and oversees payroll processes and procedures for routine processing, tax reporting and internal financial requirements. Being a Payroll Director designs short-term and long-term strategies to achieve continuous improvement and efficiencies in payroll processing and delivery operations. Keeps stakeholders informed about the status of payroll laws and regulations and develops implementation plans for required changes to operations. Additionally, Payroll Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Payroll Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Our client, in Manchester, NH, has an immediate opening for an Accounting / Payroll Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in ADP payroll and a strong working background in MS Excel.Â
Pay : $63,000-$66,000
Location : Manchester, NH (On-Site)

Premise : Provide support to accounting and payroll team.
Principle Duties :
• Process bi-weekly payroll
• Track and administer PTO
• Work with HR to manage payroll deductions for benefit plans
• Ensure confidentiality related to payroll and benefit information submitted to accounting.
• Upload 401(k) deferral files
• Support 401(k) testing, reporting and calculations for employee matching contributions.
• Assist with payroll related budgets
• Support the Director of Finance and Accounting Supervisor as needed
Qualifications :
• Associates degree or equivalent experience required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in ADP requiredÂ
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and meet daily / monthly / annual deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient with Microsoft office products (Excel and Word)
