Payroll Director jobs in New Bedford, MA

BizChecks Payroll, Cape Cod and the South Shore’s fastest growing Human Capital Management company, is seeking to add a full-time, year-round payroll specialist to our dynamic team.

In this position, you will join a team of talented professionals who are responsible for helping BizChecks Payroll achieve some of the highest retention rates in the industry. This is a fast paced, supportive, collaborative environment with extensive on the job training.

Job responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and interacting with a roster of assigned local businesses while processing payrolls on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly schedule
• Serving as the primary point of contact with our business partners to answer questions, provide product training, resolve any issues, or refer to the appropriate department
• Conduct demos of our web- based payroll, HR, and time and attendance products
• Trouble shoot and resolve any client issues
• Assist team members wherever necessary
• Attend online and in-house training sessions on a regular basis

Requirements include:

• College degree or relevant experience
• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment
• Exceptional work ethic
• Excellent problem- solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and work across multiple platforms
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Payroll, banking, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
