Payroll Director directs all aspects of payroll processing operations. Establishes and oversees payroll processes and procedures for routine processing, tax reporting and internal financial requirements. Being a Payroll Director designs short-term and long-term strategies to achieve continuous improvement and efficiencies in payroll processing and delivery operations. Keeps stakeholders informed about the status of payroll laws and regulations and develops implementation plans for required changes to operations. Additionally, Payroll Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Payroll Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. PayServ Payroll Solutions is looking for a talented, detailed-oriented, energetic, and passionate Payroll & HCM Implementation Specialist to join our growing team. The Payroll & Implementation Specialist is the primary point of contact with new clients, or those adding services, and is responsible for delivering the highest quality client service possible to clients of the Company. The successful individual will also be responsible for overseeing successful payroll processing for an ongoing client portfolio. Such service is to be provided within the framework of the PayServ Mission Statement, core values and employee manual.
While experience is a plus, we are open to training the right person.
Essential Functions:
o Provide highest quality client service possible including first-tier technical support to our customers and internal staff.
o Perform payroll processing in a specific client and/or back-up capacity.
o Perform client requirement gathering, configuration, implementation and training of proprietary iSolved software.
o Perform customer service functions by answering customer requests and questions.
o Train to become proficient in secondary products, like Time, Open Enrollment and Benefits.
o Work with clients and internal staff to resolve issues and provide solutions.
o Perform new customer on-boarding, orientations and training in person or by webinar.
o Remain engaged with client throughout implementation, until client is successfully running payroll solution.
o Communicate with client and internal implementation team, including priorities, project status and issues as they arise.
o Submit enhancement inquiries and requests to development.
. Partners with Account Managers and Client Leadership to ensure accurate and timely capturing of HR information into the payroll system
. Partners with Managers to ensure client is informed of reoccurring payroll issues impacting payroll processing
