Payroll Manager jobs in Alamogordo, NM

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for completing bi-weekly payroll including but not limited to, generating payroll checks for all county employees, maintaining accurate payroll records, and preparing and submitting payroll deduction checks and reports to federal and state agencies and to other approved payroll vendors. Employee will serve as an administrator in both the timekeeping and financial payroll system to manage all county payroll issues. Employee should have experience in calculating payroll, basic bookkeeping knowledge, and computer technical skills in Windows and Office products. Employee must have the ability to understand and communicate in English, both orally and in writing. Employee will perform all duties with minimal supervision. Employee may be required to work irregular hours, attend job related meetings, and be required to perform other duties as assigned.

STARTING HIRING SALARY:

$30.39 - $33.54 per hour DOE
