Payroll Manager is responsible for managing payroll processing operations. Establishes policies and processes that ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions. Being a Payroll Manager interfaces between finance and human resource departments to provide accurate and useful information. Develops and produces payroll-related statistical reports. Additionally, Payroll Manager ensures accurate and on-time governmental reporting and compliance. Oversees the activities and training of both professionals and support staff. Directs the resolution of complex issues or errors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Payroll Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Payroll Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • What's the role?

    Payroll Specialists are responsible for preparing client payrolls in accordance with wage and tax guidelines, processing garnishments, generating payroll documents, and tax reports for clients in the isolved HCM platform. This includes:

    • Processing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for clients as well as after the fact payrolls.
    • Generating quarterly and year-end payroll reports including W2s.
    • Updating employee payroll information and adjustments per client requests.

    What experience and skills do I need to be successful?

    • Comfortable working daily on the computer including in payroll software and Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with our customers on the phone, via email, and in person.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Previous experience in a related payroll-processing role highly desired.
    • Knowledge of payroll law and regulations highly desired.
    • Experience working in the isolved payroll system highly desired.
    • Experience with payroll implementations desired, but not required.

    What's the schedule?

    This role supports our office hours of Monday-Friday 8a-5p with a steady 40 hours per week. Generally overtime is not expected except during January and February for year end.
