SUMMARY
Seeking professional Sr Payroll Manager to oversee and direct payroll procedures within a $1B government contracting company. Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and tax obligations, supervising the payroll team, and maintaining accurate payroll records. Sr Payroll Manager is responsible for various tasks related to payroll administration. Develop systems to process payroll transactions, coordinate timekeeping systems, oversee payroll changes and system upgrades, ensure compliance with laws and internal policies, supervise and coach payroll staff, liaise with auditors for payroll tax audits, collaborate with HR and accounting teams, maintain accurate records, and resolve payroll-related issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in accounting, or other related field, and minimum of 10-15 years of payroll experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Oracle Fusion Cloud payroll experience preferred. Payroll certifications preferred. Experience with transitioning payroll systems and processes from existing to new platform. Government contracting experience preferred.
