Payroll Manager jobs in Youngstown, OH

• Record/enter all payroll data, including permanent and temporary changes to employee payroll for GJR and Affiliate corporations. 

• Maintain a strong command of all payroll functions through the use of ADP Workforce Now.
• Utilize the software in a proficient manner in order to complete all job tasks and provide requested information to Finance and Human Resources.

• Maintain all payroll records in a confidential manner outside the organization, as well as internally and within the finance department.

• Interact with employees in the field and on campus in a positive and professional manner.

• Properly code employee job functions to correlate accurately with the general ledger.

• Execute the appropriate tasks necessary to generate payroll checks/direct deposit and payroll reports in a timely manner.

• Review all payroll reports and verify that information is accurate.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes.

• Experience with importing and exporting reports utilizing Workforce Now ADP.
• Assist in the closing of month end and year end.

Required to sit for long periods throughout the workday.

Work Location:   This position works primarily in an office location.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

Associates degree required, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related degree preferred and/or relative work experience.

Licensure

N/A

Years of Experience 

At least five years’ experience in ADP Workforce Now.

Computer Experience

Microsoft applications, ADP Workforce now

Other

Must be customer-focused. 
Must be able to meet deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
