General Description:

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Supervisor is responsible for the personal and professional development of the Payroll Specialists and Supervisors within their Operating Company. The Payroll Supervisors responsibilities include: ensuring accurate payroll using their knowledge of payroll tax, tax laws, benefit, and Wage and Hour laws.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train Payroll Specialists
• Audit weekly and monthly reports for compliance with payroll policies and procedures
• Produce paychecks accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor and audit the off cycle payroll process
• Resolve discrepancies on employee wages and taxes
• Set and track goals for the Payroll Specialists
• Facilitate the Payroll training class for new Customer Service Associates

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience:

• 3 years of payroll experience
• Desire to lead a team of payroll professionals
• Strong customer service and leadership skills

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:

• Strong organizational skills
• Strong problem solving capabilities
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptable and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
• Computer Skills: PeopleSoft, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
