Payroll Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and coordination of payroll processing operations. Ensures accurate calculation of wages and processing of tax withholding and company deductions. Being a Payroll Supervisor prepares statistical reports on employee pay, commissions and bonuses; vacation, sick, disability and workers compensation leave; taxes, withholding, etc. Oversees the distribution of paychecks and direct deposit programs. Provides training to team on policies, regulations, and processes. Additionally, Payroll Supervisor assists team members with resolving errors or responding to inquiries. May be the first level escalation for complaints or complex error resolution. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Payroll Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. The Payroll Supervisor position requires strong organization skills and attention to detail. This position is fundamental to provide accurate information to the floater team in a timely manner. This role will also work closely with District Managers.

· Manages the floater department; including assigning employees to a job site each week, onboarding of the new team members to go over specific department requirements, coordinating with the department managers on the floater assignments, and processing of payroll
· Assists managers on day-to-day payroll-related inquiries.
· Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests in our ticket system and over the phone.
· Processes verification of employment.
· Reconcile outstanding payroll items prior to processing and billing of the payroll, bi-weekly. Contact various department supervisors for any missed times. Inform the Payroll Manager of any missing items.
· Time Clock Management- Order Clocks and follow up with property for troubleshooting and installation assistance.
· Assist Payroll Manager with various research projects and/or special projects.
· Scans and files documents for employees; and perform other clerical functions.

This is a full-time exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the company
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
At least 2-3 years working experience in payroll required
Experience in managing and supervising team members
Must have expert knowledge in handling the state and federal forms required for employers to maintain for each employee.
Must be able to create and interpret reports within all applications in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Bilingual required
Valid Florida driver's license.
Experience with UKG (UltiPro) software a plus.
