Pediatric Psychiatrist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders affecting children, adolescents, and their families. Diagnoses disorders, including nature and extent, determines the appropriate course of treatment, and discusses these treatment plans with the child or adolescent and the responsible adults. Being a Pediatric Psychiatrist prescribes medication when necessary. May need to act as an advocate for the best interests of the patient. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team you will provide direct psychiatric services to a diverse population, focusing on recovery of adult clients with mental health disorders, histories of trauma, and substance abuse.
Thrive Behavioral Health is headquartered in Warwick, RI with Kent County being the primary service area with residential programs located statewide. Services are also provided to homeless individuals and families in Providence and the East Bay.
