Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled SharePoint / Power Platform Specialist to join our Analytics and Support team.
You will provide SharePoint support to ensure the availability, reliability, and usability of user generated contents on Peachtree Group Hospitality Management (PGHM) intranet. Your will have various tasks related to the setup, configuration, maintenance, and management of the SharePoint environments.
Your role will also involve using Power Platform tools to design and implement workflows and apps to meet diverse business needs.
Essential Duties:
- Administer SharePoint applications, services, permissions, and features.
- Administer user creation and maintenance.
- Provide Technical Support to end-users and resolve day-to-day issues.
- Create and manage hotel and corporate sites on SharePoint.
- Create and maintain auto flow to simply and standardize business processes.
- Work with stakeholders to review existing SharePoint applications and identify changes/enhancements and improvements opportunities.
- Responsible for creation/configuration of new SharePoint sites and support existing SharePoint sites and related libraries, controls, and tools.
- Administer applications (but not limited to) managing permissions/access and creating/maintaining groups to ensure security of data.
- Assist in the design, development and implementation of solutions using PowerApps along with Power Automate as required.
- Collaborate with other SharePoint SMEs to ensure all development/administration efforts are aligned.
- SharePoint site modifications, configuration of out-of-box features, and creation of pages, forms, and approval workflows.
- Plan, design, implement, document, and maintain content management systems.
- Provide and update documentation, information, and support upon request on existing workflows and custom configurations. Update as needed based on approved changes.
Education / Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, accounting, finance, math, engineering, data science, operation research and/or related field is preferred.
- Strong experience with Microsoft products including SharePoint Online, Teams, Microsoft 365 Users and Groups, and Power Platform.
- Strong knowledge of the SharePoint Online site creation and configuration.
- Experience creating custom forms using Power Apps.
- Experience building workflows using Power Automate.
- Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies a plus.
- Microsoft certificate in SharePoint and/or Power Platform a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective and viable solutions.
- A customer service mindset, motivated by delivering solutions to meet internal customers’ needs.
- Able to quickly and continuously learn new technologies and applications.
- High degree of initiative and ability to work effectively in teams or independently.
- Hotel hospitality industry experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Long hours are sometimes required. Ability to sit for long periods at a time.
- Light work-exerting up to 5 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Requires finger dexterity, grasping, writing, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity.
