CalPERS seeks an Accountant Trainee in the Financial Reporting and Accounting Services Division, Pension Benefit Accounting Unit.
The incumbent will perform professional accounting work in the establishment and maintenance of account records while receiving training. The position will be under close supervision from the Financial Accountant II. The incumbent will learn agency activities and departmental systems and will develop interpersonal skills by contact with program personnel, business partners, control agencies and internal fiscal team members.
