Pension Administrator, Sr. is responsible for the administration of retirement plans. Maintains plan records and ensures compliance with federal regulations. Being a Pension Administrator, Sr. communicates with customers and assists with plan design and benefit distributions. Coordinates plan activities with other departments to promote efficiencies for low-cost administrative services. Additionally, Pension Administrator, Sr. may have an ASPA designation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Pension Administrator, Sr. contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The Administrator is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the center according to the strategic direction set forth by the board of directors and the pastoral leadership of the center.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE (Please do not apply if you do not meet these requirements)
Early Childhood Education Degree either an associate or bachelors or equivalent.
At least three years of experience as a teacher or aide in a preschool or daycare facility.
Have knowledge of Ohio Department of Job and Family Services rules and regulations. Have knowledge of OCCRRA. Have knowledge of Step Up to Quality rating system.

JOB DUTIES included but not limited to are as follows:
Follow all organizational policies and procedures of Step By Step Childcare Center.
Carry out strategic plan, mission statement, program goals and guiding principles of the center.
Ministering to staff, children and families.
Foster teamwork by working closely with staff.
Weekly scheduling through the Homebase App, schedule time off, vacations and call-in substitutes when needed.
Maintain all forms, policies, procedures set forth by the board and ODJFS.
Maintain all staff and children files. Ensure all files are kept confidential.
Greet parents, guests and staff. Hold interviews for potential employees and families.
Schedule all state inspections, conduct quarterly and monthly drills.
Conduct monthly staff and board meetings.
Schedule employees' trainings through OCCRRA, update schedules and employee information in OCCRRA.
Maintain documentations for Step Up to Quality.
Collect tuition, fees and payments. Maintain JFS system through Kinderconnect.
Make purchases for the center, set a monthly spending budget for teachers.
Make bank deposits, pay taxes.
Be able to identify potential problems, seek quick and professional solutions.
