Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners jobs in Baton Rouge, LA

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provides skilled technical support to oilfield operations, refineries, agricultural business, and industrial electrical contracting.
• Work independently with supervisory/Lead Worker oversight.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Extensive Knowledge and Ability to:

• Ensure all safety requirements are followed by all ATI personnel at all times. Any discrepancies must be corrected immediately, and property personnel notified.
• Installs and repairs pneumatic, electronic, and electrical instruments and devices, including all related tubing for control process systems.
• Read, decipher, and recognize trouble areas via schematics, P&ID's, and blueprints.
• Installs instruments and instrument stands.
• Considerable knowledge of pneumatics, electronics, and electricity in relation to the installation of instrumentation devices.
• Assemble and disassemble instruments for new construction, maintenance, and repair.
• Installation of alarms, switches, and other devices.
• Knowledge in bending tubing 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and various other sizes to install and make miscellaneous repairs.
• Provide technical support to operations to troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to other employees regarding fitter applications and installations.

Pay: $34/hour (paid weekly)

Per Diem: $100/day (paid weekly)

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

• Plaquemine, LA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
