Being a Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Quality Representative is an integral part of the daily execution of our final customer acceptance of flight hardware and the site tool and equipment calibration system. The role will be responsible for accurate and controlled execution of customer acceptance/sell-off processes, tool calibration to the standards and transactions that support products from assembly, final inspection, and to product shipments. This role serves as the primary point of contact between Production, Government Quality Representatives, and the Shipping Dock as a source of information on final product acceptance.
This role is key between Quality and Operations to ensure:
On-time release of units to shipping as well as maintaining correct records in the business systems assigned.
On time and control over the tools and equipment in our calibration system used for product verifications.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a track record of being organized, and process driven, with speed and accuracy to ensure quality requirements and customer schedules are met.
